Lovers Lane Engagement Session | San Francisco

The air was warm for Melissa and Ryan’s romantic Lovers Lane Engagement Session in San Francisco.

Melissa and Ryan’s Lovers Lane engagement session was filled with laughter, love, and dreamy light! Together in San Francisco, they laughed, snuggled, and danced amongst the trees surrounded by beautiful golden light.

As if they were the only ones at Lover’s Lane…

But that is Melissa and Ryan. With their wedding being rescheduled, not once, not twice, but FOUR TIMES, they continued to be full of grace and so kind hearted. They are best friends, but more than that, they are so in love.

You could literally see the love radiating from them.

Having been together for six years, anyone can see that they have been through so much together, and all their experiences have only made them stronger. Throughout the whole engagement session, Ryan held on tightly to Melissa, not wanting to let go, whether it was just walking through the trees or balancing on a tree trunk, and Melissa, looking so lovingly at Ryan, knowing he is her one and only person.

To Melissa ad Ryan- Thank you for trusting me with your engagement session. I am so thankful we met! In the short time that we have known each other, you have felt like lifelong friends! Thank you for exploring Lovers Lane with me and for going along with my crazy ideas! The love you share is undeniable, and together, you two can conquer the world! If four rescheduled weddings can’t stop you, then nothing can!

PHOTOS TO CHERISH FOR
YEARS TO COME

Figuring out what to wear for your photos can be tricky.

STEP 1: Decide if you're doing nice casual or formal wear.

STEP 2: What season are you dressing for?

STEP 3: What color theme would make you happy when you see your photos?

Color Palette
Think earthy tones like browns, beiges, olive greens, rust, and maroon. Shades of blues are also wonderful for photos. To keep it simple and elegant, try sticking to one color family and varying the tones for texture and depth.

Fabrics and Textures
Natural fabrics like linen, cotton, and wool will not only photograph beautifully but will also keep you comfortable. You can also layer with cardigans or lightweight jackets in the same color family for added interest and texture.

Coordinating Without Matching
Rather than identical outfits, it would be great if everyone could coordinate within the same color palette. This way, each person’s unique style shines through while keeping a cohesive look. Try to keep away from being too "heavy" on darker colors. Break up the the dark and light outfits.

Because we're in a nature setting, I recommend going for an EARTHY, NATURAL, & MONOCHROMATIC VIBE
